In studying the life of Jesus we find all of the steps of the spiritual path. Jesus was the embodiment of his own teachings. He put everything that he taught and preached into action.
The way in which Jesus lived and taught was simple and yet sublime. His way of teaching was extraordinary. Jesus was not a scholarly academic. He never gave high-sounding discourses or scholarly sermons at the pulpit. When he spoke, his words were short, concise, vibrant and had an extraordinary power. They burned in the depths of the consciousness of those who heard them.
In this course Swami Kashi will take you to explore some of the main teachings of the Bible and discuss these readings from a yogic point of view. We will be able to see the similarities of all paths understanding that even though there are many paths, the truth is one.

Swami Kashi Muktananda has been living in the Himalayas of India and Sivananda ashrams for the past 20 years. He learned Sanskrit, Hindi, and Vedanta philosophy from his guru, Swami Chaitanyananda of Uttarkashi, a direct disciple of Swami Sivananda. His down-to-earth approach and loving nature make him an ideal bridge between the ancient yogic teachings and a Western audience.
