Nourishing the body means nourishing the mind and contributing to our overall wellbeing. This is easier said than done. Our connection with food influences our self-love, contentment, mood and energy levels.
Challenges in our relationship with food indicate imbalances and a disconnection to the knowledge that we intuitively have towards our body and mind. Throughout this course we will study the main principles of Ayurveda which can help us to reconnect to the wisdom shared between body, mind and senses. From a yogic perspective, we will explore the effect that different foods have on our energy level and vice versa, aiming to take a step towards a healthier relationship with our food and the way we eat.
‘Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food’ Hippocrates
